Signature of a Witness is one of our most common acts. Our job is to ensure that the signature on the document is the same as signer appearing before our Notary. We need to observe and witness the parties sign the document. Proper Identification is needed by all parties.
Witness a Signature
A Jurat is the written notarial certificate found on an affidavit, application or other document, indicating that the signer swore or affirmed to our notary under penalty of perjury that the information in the document is the truth. It also certifies that the signer signed the document in the presence of our notary on the date indicated in the jurat.
A Last Will and Testament is a legal document that communicates a person's final wishes pertaining to possessions and dependents. A person's last will and testament outlines what to do with possessions, whether the deceased will leave them to another person, a group or donate them to charity. Our notaries can not offer any advice or questions how to proceed. Rather, the testator should be following authoritative legal instructions and a certificate must be provided for the Notary to complete. In order for us to complete a last will and testament we must have instructions on how to complete. If done incorrect the document could be voided.

A Power of Attorney gives broad powers to a person or organization, known as an agent or attorney-in-fact, to act in your behalf. There are several different types of power of attorney documents. Some powers include handling financial and business transactions, buying life insurance, settling claims, and employing professional help. These forms will need to be drafted and complete from authoritative legal representative. Complete instructions and a certificates must be provided for the Notary to complete. Power of Attorney
We can perform notarial acts on Washington State Odometer Disclosure Statements and Auto Title Affidavits when you are selling your car or truck. Not all car purchases will use one or both of these forms. Consult your local department of motor vehicle for guidance as how to proceed.
Auto Title Affidavit
An Oath or Affirmation are very similar. An Oath is pledge by which a person signifies that he/she is bound, in conscience and out of a sense of responsibility to a Supreme Being, to the
truthfulness of some statement. An Affirmation is a solemn statement of truth made under penalty of perjury, equivalent by law to an oath, but without religious significance or reference to a Supreme Being. Depending on your preference you can choose between either one. They carry the same result.

The purpose of an Acknowledgment is for a signer, whose identity has been verified, to declare to our Notaries that he or she has willingly signed a document.
A Living Will or advanced directives is a legal document in which a person specifies what actions should be taken for their health if they are no longer able to make decisions for themselves because of illness or incapacity. These forms and documents will need to be drafted and completed from authoritative legal representative. Complete instructions and a certificates must be provided for the Notary to complete. We can not offer advice on this process.
Our Notaries are authorized to notarize Marriage License Applications Affidavits.
Affidavits of Marriage
Children under the age of 16 traveling internationally without both of their parents or a legal guardian are considered "unaccompanied minors" and require special permissions at the borders to prevent abductions and runaways. Authorization for a Minor to Travel is a form that parents or guardian use to authorize a minor to travel alone. Please consult an attorney when filling out and providing the proper paperwork. Proper documentation is required during the notarial signing.
Our notaries can Certify that an Event took place. This certificate is to describe the notarial act of certifying that something is true, an event took place, or an act has been performed. In order to complete this we need to be present during this act or event or have proof beyond a reasonable doubt that it took place.
